Instead of putting stickers on your board why not buy a set or two of quality paint pens and do some of your own artwork on your board (or have friend that is good at drawing do it)...it would definitely look a lot better,and you won't look like you're pretending to be sponsored....let your surfing to the talking.
If you choose to go with paint pens and artwork then be sure to get a spray can of clearcoat and apply at least 3 coats applying one coat and letting dry for 30 minutes then repeat two more times and let dry for 12-24 hours for a complete dry and cure.
After that you could wet-sand the clearcoat if you wanted to give it a real nice finish.
