The Skullcandy Lowrider Is Portable and Practical
Skullcandy Lowrider headphones are portable headphones that come with 40 mm drivers. What makes these headphones so practical is that you are able to fold them up to a compact size, thus making it very easy to travel around with them. In addition to this, there is a bit of padding around the earpieces and head cover, thus making them very comfortable to wear while you are traveling.
Skullcandy Lowrider headphones also have a good noise cancellation system. Once these earphones are placed on your ears, you will find that most of the background noise that come from buses, airplanes, and trains are almost unnoticed.
One problem that many people find with this particular set of headphones is that the overall sound quality does not justify the price, which was originally set at around $50. Currently, you are able to purchase these headphones at around $25. While the sound quality is not bad, it is possible to find other headphones or earbuds that offer similar or even better sound at lesser prices. That being said, the actual plug from the cable is gold plated, thus ensuring that there is very little static interference or clipping when listening to your music.
The cables of these headphones are around 1.2 m, which is sufficient to have freedom in where you would like to place your MP3 player while traveling. However, the one downside is that these cables do not come with a built-in volume control module to help you adjust your sound on the fly.
In terms of durability, Skullcandy Lowrider headphones are made from strong plastic, especially the shells that hold the actual speakers. This is perfect as it allows people to skateboard or snowboard without having to worry if these earphones accidentally fall off onto a hard surface. Another noticeable feature of Skullcandy Lowriders is that they are very light, thus not weighing you down during your travels.
A nice bonus that does come with Skullcandy Lowrider headphones is that you are also able to order them with your own personal customization. In other words, you are able to choose the color of the cable and ear-shells as well, thus allowing you to get an original look.
If you are a serious listener, and love to listen to hard-core music such as punk rock, rap, hip-hop, or metal, then you will find that this particular your phone might not suit your needs in terms of power, clarity and cut, and overall base quality. However, if you are a casual listener that simply once a pair of headphones that are easy to carry around, while at the same time offering decent sound quality, no matter what type of music you listen to, then you will find that these particular headphones can do the job very well.
Keep in mind however that there are better headphones on the market at similar or lower prices than the Skullcandy Lowrider. But then again, if you are simply going for style alone, it will be very difficult to beat any of Skullcandy's products, including the Skullcandy Lowrider.
