Why Rent Skiing Equipment Instead Of Buying
If you have never been skiing before and have now decided this winter to take a skiing trip to Austria it may be more advisable to rent rather than buy the equipment that you need. Then of course should you decide that this type of holiday isn't for you, money will not be wasted.
However when it comes to renting equipment for skiing you have to options available to you. You can either rent the equipment at the same time as when you book the holiday. The other option you have is to rent it on your arrival at the mountain. Below we take a look at the pros and cons of using either of these options.
Pros of Renting Equipment Before You Head Off
1. It is a good idea to rent before you go especially if you intend to visit a resort at the height of the skiing season. This will ensure that you have a greater selection of equipment to choose from which will also mean that you will get the right size for you or your children. This will be very important if you want to hire snowboarding equipment when on holiday.
2. By arranging rental of your equipment before you go you may find that the cost of renting what you need is far less. But don't expect them to reduce the rates if you decide to rent it a few days before you arrive.

1. You can try various pieces of equipment out to see which one you feel most comfortable and happy using.

My Snow Skis Length is it to short?
I have a pair of skis that i believe are 156 cm long. Im about 5'11'' and 160 pounds. what are the pros and cons of my skis length?
Im a dude and I ski blues ok.
Almost always fall atleast once on blacks.
Pros: they turn quick and can be easily controlled.
Con: they turn so quick they may be unstable and act very unstable.
Personally, I suggest about a 175 for you for general use when you gain a fair amount of skill. You ski all blues easily and some blacks.
