According to an online survey of 30,000 young people, more than a third of under-25s don't automatically use a condom every time they have sex with a new partner. Which is a risky business, as the UK has the highest incidence of STIs in Western Europe*. Mojo Condoms wants to make it easier for 16-30 year olds to have that vital “condom conversation” and to see the reliable 'Johnny' as the perfect stocking filler that everyone should carry on a night out. So, the party pocket essentials should be mobile, cash and condoms without fail!
Sonia O'Connor, marketing manager and expert at Mojo, gives her top tips on getting some mojo in your life… and, let's face it, everyone needs some!
She says: “If you’re worried about the ‘cringe factor’, remember that carrying a condom may make you more attractive to the opposite sex as it shows respect and that you're not taking anything for granted or risking anyone’s health.”
“If a potential partner doesn’t have a condom, take control of the situation and make it clear, in the nicest way possible, that no condom means no sex.”
She adds: “As with most ‘tools of the trade’, it's all about technique – so practice before you try the ‘real thing’. How many of us kissed the back of our hands before we tried it out properly? The same applies to condoms. Experiment with them. Get used to opening the wrapper (not with your teeth!), holding the tip and rolling it down whatever you’re practising on… there are sure to be many appropriately shaped items in your home!”
“When it does come to that special moment, have the condom close to hand so it takes seconds to open and put on, reducing any ‘waiting time’. You don’t want to be searching for half an hour, scratching your head and saying ‘I know it’s here somewhere’, while your date is left cold.”
“Sometimes less is more: don’t even talk about it, just do it and pop the condom straight on. This will be a real turn-on for the guy or girl as it makes you look in control.”
Mojo advocates ‘Girl Power’. Says Sonia: “Women buy four out of every 10 condoms sold… so, ladies, please remember that it’s not just the guy’s job to have the rubbers ready these days.”
You might be choosy about your date for the evening but STIs aren’t fussy about who they infect. Sonia advises: “Remember that even if he/she is fit and gorgeous, the person you’ve fancied for ages may still have an STI. So protect yourself with a condom every time.”
And don’t listen to daft condom-avoidance arguments such as, “it feels like wearing a welly”. Sonia says: “You can buy a variety of condom sizes, textures and colours today. So if you think using a condom means less sensation, just use a 'Thin Skin' condom and prove yourself wrong.”

Note* this will be my first ski and I already have a nice pair of twin tip skis but I need bindings
Yeah they're pretty good. I have them and I've only ever popped out when I didn't want to on hard switch landings. I've since tightened up the din and they've been perfect.
