This process involves major probability of getting burnt. Electric flame can cause facial injuries and various others eye damages but welders can prevent themselves by using defensive masks, goggles and helmets. All these protective equipments are specially designed by dark or defensive lenses & faceplates. Helmet or goggles can decrease the harmful effects of ultra-violet rays which directly come from sparks & flames. There are many chances for welders to face toxic gases and these toxic particles or smoke can create breathing problems.
There are some easy-to-access operations generally used such as arc welding, TIG & MIG welding and gas welding. In order to make a fusing arc between an electrode and a base material arc process uses a power supply to liquefy the metals at the fusing point. When it comes to shield the welding region, a type of inert or semi-inert gas that is usually known as a stuffing material has to be used. Direct or Alternating current can be used in this application. In case of MIG & TIG application, constant & delicate wire electrodes are passed all the way through a welding gun. In case of MIG application, a cable electrode is consumed to create a bond. During the entire process, in order to avert the nitrogen and oxygen in the air from polluting the weld, a defensive gas is required.
