When is the Edge and Vickie saga going to end?
I'm so sick of this storyline it's like the retarded cousin of a soap opera
Man I completely agree with you. Don't get me wrong, I love Edge, he's one of the best heels WWE has ever had, but enough is enough. At Survivor Series they ruined a golden oppurtunity to do something fresh and new with Jeff Hardy by having him win the WWE Championship...but no, they opt instead to re-hash another old storyline.
Now, I liked the Edge-Vickie thing when it first happened. It was a cool concept and great in terms of shock value, but it just dragged on and on and on...and on. Plus, it had identical formats for everyone Edge worked with. It was great for when he battled the Undertaker, even if it did stretch out a bit much, and decent for when he fueded with Batista. But it never clicked when he had those transitional fueds with Rey Mysterio and Triple H. Now Edge will fued with Triple H for a long time while they re-build Jeff Hardy into a title contender, even though they don't have to.
My bet is that Edge will hold the title until Wrestlemania. I don't really know why they brought Edge back in the exact same way that he always comes back in, especially with Vickie. I mean, Summerslam with The Undertaker concluded that fued so well. There was no need to continue it any more. Now they'll follow the same format again: Edge and Vickie team up to screw over the popular face, the popular face then trys for three or four pay-per-views to reclaim, or in Rey and Jeff's case win, the championship. Sure it's entertaining, but I just wish that they would try something new.
